_S <br />2 Analysis <br />2.1 Approach <br />The approach taken to this engagement proceeded along the lines outlined below, more or <br />less in the sequence described. Of course, accommodations were made to fit into the <br />calendars of the various persons interviewed and sites visited. <br />2.1.1 Understand the Current Problem and Needs <br />This involved extensive discussions with Joyce Pearson and Dick Taylor and their staff. <br />I also performed a walkthrough of Deeds and Vital Records to better appreciate the <br />problems with the current system. <br />2.1.2 Establish Criteria and Priorities <br />This also emerged from the discussions with Joyce and Dick, with additional suggestions <br />based on my previous experience with building and installing several systems.
