ao
3.2 Summary and Benefits
A short wrap-up maybe in order.
The purpose of this effort was to choose among options currently under consideration for
restoring Orange County Office of the Register to full operation. I believe the approach
and recommendations presented herein are responsive to that end.
It is my view that the requirements as understood are well within current technology-and
that many solutions could be found. I have focused on those close at hand and believe
the path recommended has a good chance of success.
Of course, "the Devil is in the details", meaning that execution is the essence of success.
I believe the approach recommended has adequate safeguards against risk and can be
implemented relatively quickly. It has the added advantage that the first steps will
provide value and movement in the direction desired by both business and technology. It
also provides a relatively open-ended possibility for future evolution to more
sophisticated solutions.
~,
{
.'
Report to Orange County Register of Deeds April 12, 2000
F7nrchmn~ ('nvic~ilfir~o 1 n
