This represents level funding from the state for next <br />year. <br />General CSHS Orthopedic <br />Maternal Health Child Health <br />AIDS (Federal) Child Service Coordination <br />Family Planning Breast 8 Cervical Cancer <br />Immunization Action Plan <br />Environmental Health Food and Lodging <br />Block Grant that includes Communicable Disease, Adult Health and Health Promotion <br />Each year the State contracts with the Health Department to render specified services. The <br />attached contract outlines the terms and assurances of the contractual agreement. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: The state consolidated contract provides $457,813 federal and state <br />dollars to the county to provide specific services. This represents approximately 11 % of the <br />overall health department budget. This does not include Medicaid revenue which is earned <br />separately for services provided. It should be noted that this is subject to action by the North <br />Carolina General Assembly during the 2000 Legislative Session. <br />RECOMMENDATION(S): The Manager recommends that the Board approve the contract, <br />subject to the endorsement of the County Attorney and County Purchasing Director and <br />authorize the Chair to sign the contracts and assurances. <br />
