70 <br />d. Impacts an the local hydrogeology. ASC will prdvide generic data on <br />Central North Carolina granite formations and hydrogeological <br />impacts of quarries in these formations for review by CAQE and <br />OWASA. If requested by CAQE, ASC will make an expert <br />hydrogeologist available to meet and answer questions about <br />hydrogeological impacts of the American Stone Quarry. <br />These studies will be completed prior to issuance of the Special Use <br />Permit and reports on the investigations will be made available to the <br />County Commissioners. <br />X. DOCUMENTATION AND ENFORCEMENT OF AGREEMENTS. <br />OWASA will work with CAQE to insure that an ongoing procedure is established <br />by which adherence to all permit restrictions and practices negotiated for protection of <br />the neighbors and the community at large will be enforced, soliciting the help of Orange <br />County officials and the DEHNR Land Quality Section where appropriate. <br />Citizens can periodically monitor compliances by checking seismograph and <br />blasting reports, by requesting visits to the plant and pit, and by participating in the <br />annual neighbor meeting. <br />CAQE .wants~am Amendment :of the.~'oi~;'P,arty Agreement :and:~a new a~plicatio~ <br />to the local governments for land use policy c~iariges in permits so that:factual and <br />accuiate reasons are given that clearly justif~';those applications. <br />
