62 <br />V. AIRBL.4ST, GROUND VIBRATION, NOISE, FLY ROCK, AND <br />BLASTING TECHNOLOGY. <br />(a) Within the two (2) years following approval, and before entering <br />OWASA property ASC will conduct apre-blast survey on each home, where <br />requested to do so by the homeowner, for those Names within the area shown on <br />Exhibit 2. The survey will be performed by an outside consultant selected and <br />paid for by ASC with expertise in this field, and a copy will be provided to the <br />homeowner. <br />(b) In the event that there is a subsequent allegation of damage and the <br />pre-blast survey is used as evidence of such damage, ASC will respond in good <br />faith to accept responsibility where the pre-blast survey and blasting data as <br />determined by an expert indicate a probability (not a certainty) that the damage <br />was caused by. the activities of ASC., <br />(c) ASC will attempt to contact neighbors within an area shown on <br />Exhibit 2 who request to be contacted by telephone on the day of a blast so that <br />neighbors will know that a blast is going to occur. <br />(d) Within two (2) yeazs of the date of receipt of all permits needed far <br />the expansion, ASC will complete the installation of baffling equipment where <br />reasonably feasible for the purpose of reducing plant noise following the <br />guidelines and in general conformance with the National Stone Association's <br />(NSA) Community Noise Manual. <br />
