29 <br />New Hope Creek Corridor Project <br />Capital Project Ordinance <br />Project Number 61-66Z <br />Be it ordained by the Orange County Board of County Commissioners that pursuant to Section <br />13.2 of Chapter 159 of the General Statutes of North Carolina, the following capital project is <br />hereby adopted. <br />Section 1. The project authorized will provide for a wildlife habitat and hiking and biking <br />trails along atwenty-three mile corridor from rural Orange County to Jordan <br />Lake. This project will be financed with proceeds from the County's portion of <br />the one-half cent sales taxes and subdivision payment-in-lieu funds. <br />SeCtiOn 2. The officers of the County are hereby directed to proceed with the project within <br />the budget coatained herein. <br />Section 3. This ordinance supersedes all previous New Hope Creek Corridor Capital Project <br />Ordinances for Orange County. <br />Section 6. -. This ordinance, originally adopted June 26, 1995 and subsequently amended, shall <br />remain in effect until June 30, 2000. <br />Adopted this fourth day of Apri12000. <br />
