Their responsibility is noted in the attached letter.
The draft documents have been refined over the last few months taking into consideration various
comments far SLUG meetings and other questions prompted from presentations to the eventual parties to
the interlocal agreement. The draft documents are enclosed which represent a well thought through effort
of the subcommittee to present documents that are workable far our next step.
As discussed in previous meetings, we wanted an opportunity to present the work of the SLUG and
subcommittee to the Assembly of Governments, which will be on March 30, 2000 at the Southern Human
Services Center. The presentation to the Assembly of Governments in this early timeframe will give all
porkies the time to consider the Memorandum of Understanding and use the concept in upcoming budget
planning.
This is not a fmal document and we look forward to receiving additional input to make the proposed
ordinance understandable and fair. On March 30, I expect to present the fallowing information:
1) Memorandum of Understanding 4) Hypothetical Pmcess
2) SAPFO with annotations 5) Hypothetical Adequacy Test
3) Decision Matrix 6) Question & Answer Brochure
These additional items will be sent with the Assembly of Governments agenda early next week.
Thank you for your input and feel free to prepare questions for the meeting ar for my research in advance.
Sincere ,
~ `
Craig .Benedict, AICP
Planning Director
CNB/dg
