July 14,1999 iS <br />Objective 2: <br />To educate lending institutions personnel, developers, builders, realtors and attorneys regarding <br />proper maintenance of septic systems, indications of system failures and homeowner resources <br />for education, technical, and possible financial assistance for septic system operation and repairs, <br />Year 2 <br />Reach 10% of developers, builders with education and training in septic systems. <br />Reach 5% of lending institution personnel, realtors and attorneys with education and training, <br />Year 3 <br />Reach an additiona110% of developers and 5% of lenders. <br />Follow up with those trained in year 1 to identify any problems or gaps in training. <br />Measures: <br />trained (developers, lenders etc.). <br />%hameowners receiving informational packet. <br />developers/lenders including discussion of septic systems in their transactions. <br />Objective 3: <br />To educate septic system installers about WTMP program and educational resources available. <br />Year 2 <br />Educate 5% of installers. <br />Establish voluntary `referred list" for those completing training, <br />Ensure 100% complete training evaluatian. <br />Year 3 <br />Conduct random inspection ofX% to ensure compliance. <br />Others activities same as above <br />Measures: <br />Number trained. <br />Number completing evaluation. <br />Number on preferred list. <br />Compliance rate with installation standards. <br />Percentage of installers sharing educational materials with homeowners. <br />
