These initiatives included forming a Commission <br />far the Environment to advise on matters related to natural resources, forming a Joint Master <br />Recreation and Parks Work Group to address land-banking and future park land acquisition, <br />and the establishment of a new Environmental and Resource Conservation Department to <br />address a number of resource conservation issues. Two products of these initiatives are the <br />Report of the Master Recreation and Parks Work Group, ("Parks Report") and A Lands Le ac <br />Program for Orancle County ("Lands Legacy Program"). These two related reports and <br />associated issues would be the immediate focus of the task force. <br />TASK FORCE CHARGE STRUCTURE TIMELINE <br />Char e: To make recommendations to the BOCC for integrating the Parks Report and the <br />Lands Legacy Program, so that they may be considered for adoption in a timely manner. Upon <br />BOCC approval of these two reports and the interconnections between them, make <br />recommendations to the BOCC about facilitating the implementation of the integrated reports <br />and assist with that facilitation as approved by the BOCC. <br />Structure: Two Commissioners <br />Three Department Heads: <br />Environment and Resource Conservation <br />Planning <br />Recreation and Parks <br />
