This <br />agenda abstract presents for Board action the positian, job classification and pay, and <br />personnel policy actions necessary to implement the transfer. <br />Attachment 1 lists the specific items recommended far Board action. These are <br />summarized below: <br />1. Establish the Solid Waste Positions as Coun Positions <br />Attachment 1 lists in Section 1 the Solid Waste positions to be established as County <br />positions. These 28 positions are the current positions in the Town of Chapel Hill Solid <br />Waste department. <br />2. Amend the Oran a Coun Classification and Pa Plan to Inca orate the Solid Waste <br />Positions <br />Attachment 1 lists in Section 2 the recommended additions and one change to the <br />Orange County Classification and Pay Plan to incorporate the Solid Waste positions. <br />As part of the transition, Orange County engaged a consultant (Billings and Associates) <br />paid by the Landfill Fund to complete a positian classification study of the 28 Solid <br />
