4 <br />The property fronts the north side of NC Highway 54 for a distance of 1,$40 feet and extends <br />along the west side of Bethel-Hickory Grove Church Road (SR 1104) for a distance of 3,600 <br />feet, and along the east side of Bethel-Hickory Grove Church Road (SR 1104) for a distance <br />of 2,920 feet. The proposed area will incorporate three parcels and a portion of a fourth <br />parcel: one (1) parcel (identified by Parcel Identification Number 9759-63-9813) and part of <br />a second parcel (PIN 9759-44-27$0) both awned by American Stone Company, one (1) <br />parcel owned by Phillip O. and Alice Durham (FIN 9759-54-4097 -existing location of the <br />American Stone Quarry), and one (1) parcel owned by the Orange Water and Sewer <br />Authority (PIN 9759-62-1992). <br />This proposed amendment only requires the approval of the Orange County Board of County <br />Commissioners. <br />All interested citizens are invited to attend this hearing and be heard. Public comment will be received <br />during the public hearing. Following the close of the public hearing, only evidence received in writing by <br />the date of the Orange County Planning Board meeting following the public hearing will be considered <br />by the Board of Commissioners for decision. <br />Changes may be made in the advertised proposals which reflect debate, objections and discussion at the <br />hearing. <br />Questions regarding the proposals may be directed to the Orange County Planning Department located in <br />the Planning and Agricultural Center, 306F Revere Road, Hillsborough, North Carolina.
