Twenty-five per cent (25%) of the proceeds of this <br />tax shall be deposited in the Welfare Accounts and seventy-five (75%) of the <br />proceeds will be deposited in the School Current Expense Fund. <br />(2) A Special School Tax of $0.29 on the $100.00 of property valuation shall <br />be levied on all property in the Chapel Hill School District. <br />(3) A Special Fire Tax of $0.10 on the $100.00 of property valuation shall be <br />levied on all property in the Greater Chapel Hill Fire District. <br />(4) A Special Fire Tax of $0.10 on the $100.00 of property valuation on all <br />property in the Colony Woods Fire Protection District. <br />(5) On each open female dog six (6) months of age or older the sum of $2.00, <br />on allother dogs the sum of $1.00. <br />(6) On each marriage license a tax of $4.00. <br />(7) In accordance with Section B of the Revenue Act (Article 2, Chapter $, <br />of the General Statutes) and any other section of the General Statutes there <br />is hereby levied a privilege license tax in the maximum amount permitted on <br />all businesses, trades, occupations, or professions which the County is <br />entitled to tax. <br />Upon motion of Commissioner Ward, seconded by Commissioner Walker, it was <br />moved and unanimously adopted, that Clarence D. Jones be re-appointed as a <br />member of the Research Triangle Regional Planning Commission. <br />Lawrence Alley, Engineer for the Industrial Park Water Project, presented a <br />program report. Mr. Alley emphasized the necessity for the completion of the <br />access road which runs parallel to I-85 as the pipe contractors would be <br />unable to complete their work. <br />Upon motion of Commissioner Ray, seconded by Commissioner Smith, it was <br />moved and unanimously adopted, that Mr. Alley be employed-to supervise the <br />survey and grading of the proposed access road. <br />There being no further business to come before the Board the meeting <br />was adjourned to meet again.on ,Tuesday, July 25, 1967 at 8 P.M. in the Community <br />Room of Orange Savings & Loan Association building in Chapel Hill, N.
