Davis, Planner III, ext 2580 <br />TELEPHONE NUMBERS: <br />Hillsborough 732-8181 <br />Chapel Hill 968-4501 <br />Durham 6$8-7331 <br />Mebane 336-227-2031 <br />PURPOSE: Zoning of parcels near the intersection of I-85/NC86 to "Limited Office." <br />BACKGROUND: These parcels were shown as 3a and 3b on the June 6, 2000 moratoria map <br />including approximately 77 acres. These parcels can continue their present activity pursuant to <br />existing zoning codes if presently developed. If the site is undeveloped or previously noted site <br />is to be redeveloped, then the parcel would be developed consistent with Limited Office district <br />or request rezoning through a special use rezoning and permit process. These parcels would <br />also be removed from the moratoria which is proposed to end on January 6, 2001 for these <br />parcels. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: None at this time. <br />RECOMMENDATION(S): Administration recommends the acceptance of staff and public input <br />into the public hearing records and transmittal to the Planning Board for recommendation back <br />to the Board of County Commissioners no sooner than January 17, 2001. <br />g;\craig\absrractsUo\ ] 2~-00\dg <br />
