Churton St.), widen to multi-lanes from I-40 to the Eno River <br />and widen bridge no. 240 over Southern Railroad (Unfunded). <br />Delayed Projects <br />• Project U-3100: SR 1009 (Hillsborough Rd.), Carrboro, widen to 36-ft. curb and gutter <br />facility: Planning FFY 05 (from FFY 03); Design FFY 08 (from FFY 06); <br />R-O-W FFY 10 (from FFY 08); Construction Post Years. <br />• Project U-2805: SR 1777 (Homestead Rd.),, Chapel Hill, widen to three lane shoulder <br />section: Construction FFY 05 (from FFY 04). <br />• Project U-2909: SR 1780 (Estes Dr.), Chapel Hill and Carrboro, widen to three lanes with <br />four-foot paved shoulders: R-O-W Post Years (from FFY 06); <br />Construction Post Years. <br />• Project U-3306: SR 1733 (Weaver Dairy Rd.), Chapel Hill, widen to five lanes, part on new <br />location: R-O-W FFY 04-05 (from FFY 03-04); Construction FFY 06-07 <br />(from FFY 05-06). <br />• Project U-3808: Elizabeth Brady Rd. Ext., Hillsborough, south of US 70 A to north of US 70 <br />Bypass at SR 1002 (St. Mary's Rd.), construct multi-lanes with new <br />crossing of Eno River: R-O-W FFY 07 (from FFY 06); Construction FFY <br />09 -Post Years (from FFY 08 -Post Years). <br />The Draft 2004 - 2010 TIP for Orange County contains the following changes between the <br />2002 - 2008 TIP and the Draft 2004 - 2010 TIP. <br />New Projects <br />• Project R-2716: SR 1144 (Mattress Factory Rd.), convert grade separation to an <br />interchange with I-40/I-85 (Unfunded). <br />• Project B-4782: Replace Bridge No. 3 on SR 1507 (Wilkerson Rd.) over the North Fork of <br />the Little River: R-O-W FFY 08; Construction FFY 09. <br />There are many opportunities to submit comments regarding the Draft 2004 - 2010 TIP. <br />Citizens may submit comments online at any time by visiting the TIP site under Hot Topics on <br />NCDOT's website. NCDOT will hold public hearings on the document later this year. The <br />DCHC MPO Transportation Advisory Committee (TAC) will hold a public hearing on the local <br />supplement (MTIP) of the 2004 - 2010 TIP in January 2003. <br />
