An example <br />of the need for this project is the intersection of US 70 with Qld No.1 Q <br />(SR 1715) which is currently operating at level of service "F". <br />g) Mt Herman Church Road fSR 1713) -Preliminary plans by the <br />Planning ~ Environmental Branch, Division of Highways of NGDQT <br />indicate that this road may be relocated as .park of I-3Q5. Qrange <br />Gounty requests that this road be designed with 12' wide travel lanes <br />and 4' wide bicycle lanes for a total paved widfih of 32'. <br />h~ Qld NG 1 Q,~SR 171 Q~ - Preliminary plans by the Planning & <br />Environmental Branch, Division of Highways of NCDQT indicate that <br />this road may also be relocated as park of I-3Q5. Qrange County <br />requests that this road be designed with 12' wide travel lanes and 4' <br />wide bicycle lanes for a total paved width of 32'. <br />i) NG 86 -- NGDQT has expressed concern that the width (2-lane) of the <br />NG 86 overpass is inadequate for increased trafl'tc volumes that would <br />result from proposed development in the adjacent Economic <br />Development District. Qrange Gounty requests that the NG 86 <br />.overpass be widened. <br />3) R-~63(} DURHAM NQRTHWEST LQQP fENQ DRIVE,): new multi-lane route <br />from I-85 in Qrange Gounty I-85 in Durham Gounty -Qrange County is <br />strongly opposed to having this facility within Orange Gounty and is also very <br />concerned about the environmental impacts to the Eno River State Park. <br />Qrange Gounty requests that this facility be on a location outside of Qrange <br />Gounty. <br />Qrange Gounty is also opposed to any alignment of this facility where the <br />western terminus could be extended in future years to form a loop or freeway <br />into Qrange Gounty. <br />
