The bulleted items above indicate the additional items or services the additional local match will provide. A public hearing was held on November 19, 2002 at the quarterly Transportation Advisory Board meeting. The Transportation Advisory Board reviewed public comments and approved the application as submitted. FINANCIAL IMPACT: The NCDOT Community Transportation Program Grant requires a 10% local County match in the amount of $42,247 for FY 2003/04. If this grant application is approved as proposed, $42,247 is the amount the BOCC would be asked to set aside as the mandatory local match for OPT in the budget process for next fiscal year. RECOMMENDATION(S): The Manager recommends that the Board approve the Community Transportation Program Grant application for FY 2003/04 and authorize the Chair to sign the Community Transportation Program Resolution and Annual Certified Statements of participation.
