BOOK 6 PAGE <br />29. 1967 Minutes <br />The issuance of this note has been approved under the provisions of the <br />Local Government Act of North Carolina. <br />W. E. EASTERLING <br />Secretary, Local Government Commission <br />By: <br />Designated Assistant <br />Section 4. The action of the County Accountant in applying to the Local. <br />Government Commission to approve, advertise and sell said $130,000 County Office <br />Building Bond Anticipation Notes and the action of the Local Government Commission <br />in asking for sealed bids for said notes by publishing a sale notice and printing <br />and distributing circulars be and the same are hereby ratified and confirmed. <br />Commissioner Smith moved the passage of the foregoing resolution entitled: <br />"RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR THE ISSUANCE OF $130,000 COUNTY OFFICE BUILDING BOND <br />ANTICIPATION NOTES" and Commissioner Ray seconded the motion and the resolution <br />was passed by the following vote: <br />Ayes: Commissioners Bennett, Ray, Smith, Walker and Ward. <br />Noes: None. <br />Discussion ensued between the Board of County Commissioners and The <br />County Planning Board relative to the public hearing scheduled for Tuesday, May 30, <br />1967. It was agreed that the proposed agenda for said meeting was too detailed <br />for one meeting, therefore, it would be necessary to schedule an additional meeting <br />date. Thursday, June 1, 1967 at 7:30 P.M. was designated as the date and time for <br />the additional public hearing. <br />There being no further business to come before the meeting said meeting <br />was adjourned to meet again on may 30, 1967 at 7:30 P.M. and June:.l, 1967 at <br />7:30 P.M. for the purpose of holding a public hearing on the proposed amendments <br />to the Chapel Hill Township Zoning Ordinance. <br />Harvey D. Gattis, ACting:Clerk <br />- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - <br />MINUTES OF THE ORANGE COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />.May 30, 1967 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Orange County met in joint session <br />with the Orange County Planning Board in the Courtroom of the Courthouse in <br />Hillsborough at 7:30 P.M. on Tuesday, May 30, 1967. This meeting was a duly <br />advertised public hearing. <br />Chairman Bennett announced that this meeting was called for the purpose <br />of holding a public hearing to consider the proposed amendments to the Chapel Hill <br />Township Zoning Ordinance and Chairman Bennett then turned the chair over to <br />Dr. C. T. Kaylor, Chairman of the Orange County Planning Board. <br />For a detail report of the business conducted at this public hearing see <br />the minutes of the Orange County Planning Board as of this date. <br />This meeting was adjourned until Thursday, June 1, 1967 at 7:30 P.M. <br />Harvey D.
