Water users <br />affected by controls and limitations under the water management <br />operations plan are as follows: <br />a) County - release from Lake Orange, Corporation <br />Lake, and Lake Ben Johnston to meet downstream <br />withdrawals and in-stream flow requirements. <br />b) Hillsborough - Lake Ben Johnston withdrawal and <br />reservoir release (as instructed by the County), <br />and the Hillsborough wastewater treatment plant <br />discharge. <br />c) Orange-Alamance - Corporation Lake withdrawal and <br />reservoir release (as instructed by the County). <br />d) Piedmont Minerals - Eno River withdrawal and <br />discharge. <br />2. Table 1 establishes the maximum allowable surface water <br />withdrawals and minimum flow requirements at the Eno River <br />Hillsborough gauge, based on the level of Lake Orange. Table 1 <br />was approved by the EMC as a part of the Eno River Water <br />Management Plan. The parties agree (1) to comply with the water <br />withdrawal restrictions shown in Table 1, (2) to keep in-stream <br />flow levels at or above the. minimum required in Table 1, and ( 3 ) <br />to work together to improve water retention in Lake Orange and to <br />maintain operational drawdowns at Corporation Lake and Lake Ben <br />Johnston to improve the total water supply yield of the reservoir <br />system. <br />3 <br />
