4 <br />Vera Watts <br />246 Harper St. <br />Hillsborough, NC 27278 <br />7// 10/02 <br />EXTERIOR: <br />1. Cover all door and window frames with white coil stock. <br />2. Repair the rotten siding ,window and door frames before installation of <br />vinyl and coil stock. Remove the rotten siding and install %2" plywood. <br />3. Install 1/4 inch foam insulation and D-5 vinyl siding on the entire house. <br />4. Cover all eves, facias, rakes and overhangs with white coil stock. <br />5. Install vented soffit in all overhangs. Cut 4" x 10" section out on the <br />back overhangs to allow air flow. Cut the sections out every 3 feet. <br />6. Install continuous aluminum gutters and downspouts. Install the existing <br />splash blocks under each downspout. <br />7. Install two (2) automatic foundation vents that are missing. <br />8. Install soffit on the base overhang of the dining/laundry room. <br />9. Paint the two (2) crawlspace doors and jamb. Scrap and prepare for <br />paint. Paint the doors and jambs with semigloss latex paint. Paint shall <br />cover completely. Trim down the doors so they will close properly. <br />10. Paint the foundation with masonry paint. Remove all loose and chipping <br />paint. Fill any large holes and cracks with mortar before painting. <br />Apply two (2) coats of masonry paint. Paint shall cover completely. <br />11. Install the missing shingles on the back section of the roof. <br />12. Install a shingle type ridge vent. Cut out a 3 inch section of roof at <br />the peak and install the ridge vent in both ridges. <br />13. Install a new screen in the side storm door. <br />14. Install a new storm door lock on the front and side storm doors. <br />15. Install a pressure treated handrail on both sides of the side porch steps. <br />
