A public forum for the BOCC to receive community input on the <br />planning process was held on October 8, and a work session with OPC staff was held on <br />October 9. <br />The proposed plan provides afive-year implementation schedule. Divestiture of direct service <br />delivery - as specified by the State -will be phased over time, allowing the three counties an <br />opportunity to help stabilize necessary non-profits and reallocate OPC staff. <br />The OPC Steering Committee meets again on November 21 to finalize the review and comment <br />period from each county commission and begin preparing the plan document for final adoption <br />by the three counties and submission to the State by the end of the calendar year. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: No transition dollars are being provided by the State. Current OPC state <br />allocations continue at roughly the same level as last year. OPC projects the same amount of <br />
