(Removal was contemplatetl in the <br />master plan) <br />IndireMly reletetl to justice fedliti¢s, we fuller underetantl that akemetives are to bB <br />developetl f0 the GBC expansion options as tlefinetl within the 2000 Space Stutlp. <br />The amount of davelapmenl on the site would be limited, d at ell end would include <br />only surface parking. <br />The Boartl is asketl to confirm the accuracy of these assumptions. <br />Justice Facilities Development <br />Current Footling Plan for Juatica Facilities <br />The 2002-2012 Capital Investment Plan (CIPj indicates that funding for various stages <br />of tM1e work wcuNl be available for spentling ae follows'. <br />• ClP funtls currently appropriated $500,000 for the planning of the project. <br />• 2009-2005: private placement Of $5,000,000 for constmcti0n <br />Timeline Untler Current Funtling Plen /pr Justice Fe9111tles <br />• TM1e Boartl has approved three groups who will carry out various aspects of the <br />planning process', havrever, intlivklual appointm¢nta have yet to be finalizetl. The <br />earliest this coultl be done is Augus[ 20, 2002. <br />• Architect selection woultl be ramied out within 3 months following Ne appointment of <br />the task groups, thereby necessitating that the tlesign money be avelleble around <br />January 2003. <br />• Commencement of construdi0n is anticipatetl in FY 2009-2005, with completion <br />approximateq 15-1$ months later (FY 20W-2008). <br />
