In January 2002, the Committee issuetl ib report and conceptual plan for <br />this ]3-acre site on US 15/501 south of Chapel HIII. <br />Tonight's tliscussion points may be separated into two distinct but rele[etl subsections: <br />A. Southem Park Conceptual Plan <br />B. Southem Park Process <br />A. Southern Park Conceptual Plan <br />On March 25, the Town Council adoptetl Ue Conceptual Plen, with one majorchange- <br />atltlition of a third full-size soccer feld at the site. On October Y', the Boartl of <br />Commissioners began its review of the Conceptual Plan. <br />At the October 1"meeting, the BoaN identified a number of questions about the park design <br />and reletetl [opus.
