The tieltl area <br />Is being leasetl to the County at a cos[ of $t per year by Bob antl Chris Nutter, owners of <br />Maple View Farms. The lease agreement was approvatl on March fi, 2002. <br />A survey of the fieltl area was cpmpletetl tart year, and the site tlesign for [he soccer Fieltl <br />has now been completetl by Open Space Design Specialist Kimberly Siren, working in <br />conjunction with s[aH members from Purchasing, County Engineer, Recreation and Parks, <br />Environmental Heslth and Planning. The site design has been reviewetl by both Planning <br />and Envimnmen[al Health staff as a precursor to formal approval. In accoM with issues <br />raised, additional parking spaces have been added (bringing We total spaces to 50). <br />Required plantings will be planted in clusters to better reflect the coral character of the site, <br />while still meeting Zoning Ortlinence provisions. A well tp be used for irrigation has been <br />relocatetl to pmvitle for both irrigation and potential water fountains. In keeping with the <br />desires of both parties, the Maple View Soccer Field will not be liohted. <br />Once the stte tlesign has been approved by the Boats, the neat step would be to submit the <br />site plan for approval by the Planning Department.
