Mayor Kevin Foy <br /> October 16,2002 <br /> Page 2 <br /> School Adequate Public Facilities MOU and Ordinance Possible Implementation Timeline <br /> The timeline plots the steps necessary to fully implement the Schools Adequate Public Facilities system by <br /> February 15,2003: <br /> Status of Memorandum of Understanding and Adequate Public Facilities Ordinance <br /> This status report shows that all parties to the agreement have addressed or approved the Memorandum of <br /> Understanding. The Board of County Commissioners is scheduled for mid-October discussion and November <br /> adoption of the MOU and Ordinance and is awaiting the input from all associated task forces and councils. <br /> Some specific comments that have been received from various parties will be incorporated in a final transmittal <br /> after the BOCC reviews the document. <br /> Summary of Student Capacity Information and Student Capacity by School District <br /> These tables,which were prepared for and reviewed at the most recent meetings of the School Facilities Task <br /> Force and Schools and Land Use Councils,reflect preliminary membership vs. capacity figures for 2002-03 and <br /> are based on actual student membership as of the 20`h day of school in both systems. <br /> I hope that this communication helps to explain the diligent effort by all parties and task forces to accomplish <br /> our mutual goals this fall.
