I 586 <br />April 3, 1967 minutes continued <br />dollar valuation special tax to not exceed 352 per hundred dollar property <br />valuation within said area, to further supplement the current expense funds from <br />5tate and County allotments and thereby operate schools of the Chapel Hill <br />Administrative Unit within the Chapel Hill School District of a higher standard <br />by supplementing any item of expenditure in the school budget: <br />Instructions <br />1. To vote "YES" make a Cross (X) mark in the square to the right of the <br />word "YES". <br />2. To vote "NO" make a cross (X) mark in the square to the right of the <br />word "NO". <br />3. If you tear or deface or wrongly mark this ballot return it and get another <br />YES FOR local Tax. <br />NO AGAINST local tax. <br />Commissioner:Ward- secoinded the. motion to adopt said resolution, and after <br />discussion, said resolution was put to a vote. Chairman Bennett called for a vote <br />on said motion. Voting aye were Commissioners Smith, Ward, Walker and Bennett. <br />Voting Nay was Commissioner Ray.
