5?J <br />t <br />it 3, 1967 minutes continued <br /> In said election the regular registration books for elections will be used. <br /> However, said registration books will be open for the registration of such voters, <br /> not theretofore registered, beginning Saturday, April 29, 1967, and closing Saturday, <br /> May 13, 1967. Minnis <br /> Any person who is not certain as to where he should register should contact the <br /> Register of Deeds and ex officio Clerk of the Board of Commissioners at her office in <br /> the County Courthouse in Hillsborough. <br /> After canvass by the Board of County Commissioners of the results of said specia <br /> election when the returns have been filed with them by the officers holding the <br /> election, and if said election shall be carried by a majority of the votes cast in <br /> said election, then and in such event there shall be levied in said area, effective <br /> as of July 1, 1967, a special school tax which, indluding the present 20t per hundred <br /> dollar valuation special tax, will not exceed 35C per hundred dollar valuation tax. <br /> By order of the Board of Commissioners of Orange County, North Carolina, dated <br /> April 3, 1967,. <br />/s/ Betty June Haves <br />Clerk to the Board of Commissioners <br />of Orange County <br />4.
