In addition, the second term of Ms. <br /> Josephine Leak Harris, representing the Town of Carrboro, expired June 30, 2001. She <br /> continues to serve until someone is appointed to take her place. <br /> The membership sub-committee met during the summer to review the Interest List and made <br /> one recommendation to appoint Mr. William T. Hendrickson to an At-Large Position. <br /> The committee is further reviewing the Interest List for other recommendations, as well as <br /> having contacted the Town Clerks of Carrboro and Hillsborough requesting nominations for their <br /> positions. No nominations have been forthcoming; further contact will be made with the Town <br /> Clerks to encourage participation on.the HRC by those Towns. Also, the Orange County <br /> Clerk's office will continue to advertise those positions. <br /> FINANCIAL IMPACT: None <br /> RECOMMENDATION(S): Consider appointing Mr. William T. Hendrickson to the Human <br /> Relations Commission to an At-Large position for a partial term to expire June 30, 2003. <br />
