The <br /> following items are proposed for consideration at the October 9, 2002 Joint Planning Area <br /> public hearing. <br /> A. Carrboro Joint Planning Area Transition Area Zoning Atlas Amendment <br /> Purpose: To hear public comment on the proposed "Winmore"Zoning Atlas Amendment within <br /> the Carrboro portion of the Joint Planning Area Transition Area. The rezoning proposal, <br /> requested by the property owners, is as follows: <br /> Action: Zoning Atlas Amendment (Rezoning) <br /> From: Residential-20 <br /> To: Village Mixed Use— Conditional Use <br /> Size: Approximately 66 acres <br /> Location: West of Homestead Road at High School Road intersection <br /> Identification: Chapel Hill Township, Tax Map 109, Lots 11B, 11C, 11 D, and 15 <br /> This amendment requires the approval of the Orange County Board of Commissioners and <br /> Carrboro Board of Aldermen. <br />
