ME <br />=UE <br />newspaper of general circulation in the appro- <br />priate portion of the County, before taking <br />action concerning proposed amendments. <br />13.2.3 The Zoning Officer shall post on any <br />affected property a notice of the public <br />hearing at least 10 days prior to the date <br />of said hearing. <br />13.2.4 The Planning Board shall submit its <br />recommendations on any proposed amendments to <br />the Board of Commissioners within 30 days after <br />such amendments have been referred to the <br />Planning Board for its consideration. Failure <br />to do so shall constitute a favorable <br />recommendation. <br />13.2.5 If a petition for an amendment to this ordinance <br />be denied, a period of one calendar year must <br />.elapse before said petition may be resubmitted. <br />Section 14. Violations and Penalties <br />14.1 Anv_ person, firm, or corporation violating any provision <br />of this ordinance shall be guilty of a misdemeanor. <br />14.2 Where any.building or structure exists, is proposed to <br />be erected, constructed, reconstructed, altered, main- <br />tained, or used, or any land is used or is proposed to be <br />used in violation of this ordinance, the Board of <br />Commissioners may, in addition to other remedies provided <br />by law, institute injunction,mandamus, abatement, or <br />other appropriate action or actions, proceeding or prb- <br />ceedings to prevent, enjoin, abate, or remove such un- <br />lawful erection, construction, reconstruction, alteration, <br />maintenance, or use. <br />Section 15. Legal Status <br />15.1 Conflict with Other Provisions of Law <br />It is not intended that'this ordinance shall repeal, <br />abrogate, annul, impair or interfere with any <br />existing provisions of laws, regulations, easements, <br />covenants or other ordinances or agreements between <br />parties, provided that where this ordinance imposes a <br />greater restriction on the location or use of structures, <br />premises, or lands than are imposed or required by said <br />provisions or agreements, the provisions of this ordinance <br />shall control. <br />15.2 -Validity <br />If any section, provision, clause, or portion of this <br />
