The toilet tank flapper or ballvalve (A)may not close tightly. Make sure <br /> the valve seat is clean. Replace the valve if d is in poor condition. <br /> 2. Check the trip lever am and chain(B)to be sure they are closing valve (A) <br /> properly. Adjust if necessary. <br /> 3. The water level in the tank may be too high,letting water escape through the <br /> overflow pipe (C). If so, gently bend the metal arm(D) of the float ball <br /> downward so it shuts off water intake at a lower level <br /> 4.
