SU?+ <br />Chairman Bennett presented the following letter from Ed Barnes, County <br />Extension Chairman: <br />"Subject to your approval the following orange County citizens have been <br />asked and have agreed to serve for a three year period on the Orange County <br />Extension Advisory Board: <br />Mr. Ira Ward, Orange Savings & Loan Assn., Chapel Hill, N. C. <br />Mr. Marvin F. Rogers, Route 3, Mebane, N. C <br />Mr. John Scarlett, Route 1, Box 326h, Durham, N. C. <br />Mrs. Robert Nutter, Route 3, Hillsborough, N. C. <br />Mrs. Henry S. Walker, Route 1, Hillsborough, N. C. <br />Approval of the above persons have been requested from the Director of the <br />North Carolina Agricultural Extension Service. <br />We request that favorable action be taken on this matter at your earliest <br />convenience." <br />Upon motion of Commissioner Ray, seconded by Commissioner Walker, it was <br />moved and unanimously adopted all persons named in Mr. Barnes' letter were <br />appointed to serve a three year term on the Orange County Extension Advisory Board. <br />Upon motion of Commissioner Smith, seconded by Commissioner Walker, it was <br />moved and unanimously adopted, that the law firm of Graham, Levings and Cheshire <br />was appointed to represent the County as County Attorneys for the next two years. <br />There being no further business to come before the Board the meeting was <br />adjourned to meet again on Thursday, December 15, 1966 at 11:00 o'clock A.M. for <br />the purpose of canvassing the Water Sewer Bond election being held on Tuesday, <br />December 13, 1966. <br />Harvey D.
