6) Comments a) Based upon initial courtesy review comment OC staff provided earlier in <br />the processing of this application, sidewalks have been included along <br />Orange Grove Road. <br />b) Right-of-way dedication to achieve ultimate width of Orange Grove <br />Road, consistent with the Orange Grove Road Study is recommended. <br />c) Dedication or reservation of the proposed Mayo Street/Eno Mountain <br />Road future realignment. This is an excellent opportunity to address an <br />existing poor traffic circulation pattern and provide for one intersection <br />that would be appropriate for the installation of a traffic light. This <br />would provide an alternative north/south route to alleviate existing <br />congestion along Churton Street (NC 86). <br />D. ENVIRONMENTAL ISSUES <br />1) Open Space Proposed Yes 2) Acreage 828,816 sq. ft. <br />3) Analysis/Comments Open space will provide on-site private recreational opportunities for the <br />residents and exceed the minimum open space required by the Town <br />(145,997 sq. ft).
