Teach in the School of Public Health and the School of Nursing and work on special projects <br />around public health nursing home visiting (served as a trainer consultant to Families in Focus for instance. Worked for <br />many years with migrant health health centers in NC serving Latino and Haitian farm~vorkers. Currently work on several <br />projects to offer Spanish language and and cultural training to health professionals. Speak Spanish and some Haitian <br />Creole. BSN from American University in Washington DC MA doctoral studies from the New School for Social Research <br />in New York City. The ability to <br />work closely on the policy and political aspects of public health practice would be a challenge and of great interest.
