6 <br />organized community watch groups, businesses, faith based organizations, University groups, <br />and any other interested groups that could host a program. <br />It is expected that private business will be eventually incorporated into the process <br />through internally providing the training program to employees and as a source of funding or in- <br />kind donations. A final goal. is to ensure that the CERT program becomes self-sustaining and <br />continues well after the initial funding is expended. <br />6 <br />
