COiJNTY MANAGER'S REPORT (8:00-8:05) <br />5. RESOLUTIONS OR PROCLAMATIONS (8:05-8:25} <br />a. Resolution of Appreciation -Kate Dl`LOn <br />The Board will consider a resolution of appreciation for Kate Dixon, who recently resigned as <br />Executive Director of the Triangle Land Conservancy (TLC) after 11 years. <br />b. Resolution -Purchase of Steep Bottom Branch Conser~~ation Easement <br />The Board will consider a resolution for the purchase of a conservation easement on 64 acres of an <br />identified Natural Heritage site owned by Triangle Land Conservancy (TLC), as part of the <br />County's partnership t~-~ith TLLC on this project; authorize the County Attorney and staff to <br />purchase the conservation easement at a cost of $83,700, with the expedited transfer of funds prior <br />to December 31, 2003., submitting the final easement approval to the Board in early 2004. <br />c.
