2 <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: There is no financial cost associated with the acceptance of the HSUS <br />and County staff reports as information only at the work session. Cost scenarios -both capital <br />and operating - as contained in bath reports will be reviewed and refined for a subsequent <br />composite report to the BOCC. <br />RECoMMENDATI~N{S): The Manager recommends that the Board accept the HSUS report <br />and the County staff repar# as information only, and refer both reports to the County Manager <br />for further analysis and compilation into a single report, including a proposed timeline for <br />decision making, that the BOCC can consider at its meeting on Tuesday, September 16, 2003. <br />The report received an September 16 would establish a composite body of information upon <br />which to weigh and consider public input, and other stakeholder feedback the BOCC may <br />request, at the public hearing on set for Thursday, September 18, 2003. <br />
