PEDESTRIAN/BICYCLE PLAN <br />If the subdivision is located in a Transition <br />Area designated as such on the Land Use <br />Element of the Comprehensive Plan, a <br />plan for sidewalks or pedestrian/bike lanes <br />as part of the public roads using where <br />appropriate alternative North Carolina <br />Department of Transportation design <br />guidelines that include pedestrian/bike <br />lanes as part of the public road system. <br />For proposals not located in a transition <br />area an off-road, open space pedestrian <br />plan shall be submitted and/or other plans <br />as approved by NCDOT. <br />(Submittal: Plan and one half-page written <br />summary) E R R R <br />8. SOLID WASTE (For applications of more <br />than 40 lots) <br />The location within the subdivision of a <br />solid waste convenience center(s) <br />intended to serve the subdivision and, <br />where appropriate, the area in which the <br />subdivision is located. <br />(Submittal: Plan) N/A N/A R R <br />9.
