ORANGE COUNTY MULTI - HAZARD PLAN <br />V. DEPARTMENT ON AGING <br />1. Coordinate buses and trucks for evacuation. <br />2. Coordinate with law enforcement on establishing staging areas. <br />Provide transportation support to fire departments and rescue squads for <br />evacuation. <br />4. Coordinate with law enforcement in establishing evacuation routes and traffic <br />control points. <br />5. Utilize and maintain the County resources lists to identify public and private <br />transportation resources. <br />6. Obtain additional transportation resources, as needed from adjacent <br />jurisdictions. <br />7. Develop procedures for intra- and inter- county transportation systems to <br />move critical supplies and equipment. <br />8. Assist DSS in developing a roster of dependent population. <br />9. Coordinate with private industry for use of privately owned resources needed <br />for evacuation management. <br />10. Develop memorandums of understanding with local governments for use of <br />resources. <br />11. Coordinate with the ARC for movement of evacuees or shelter population. <br />12. Develop a plan for transportation of the special needs populations. <br />13. Develop protocols for transportation in contaminated environments. <br />14. Maintain records of expenditures, obligations, narratives, and operational <br />,journals of response action, including any activities associated with disaster <br />operations. <br />15.
