T. COUNTY SHERIFF <br />1. Develop and update Law Enforcement policy and SOPS. <br />2. Obtain mutual aid agreements with other Law Enforcement agencies. <br />3. Provide direction and control for law enforcement operations. <br />4. Assist in warning and notifying the affected population of an existing or <br />impending emergency. <br />5. Provide security and protection for disaster areas. <br />6. Assist in evacuation of the disaster area and movement of shelters. <br />7. Provide security for county emergency operations. <br />8. Coordinate additional law enforcement support with State, other counties <br />and/or municipalities. <br />9. Plan for primary and alternate evacuation routes and applicable traffic control <br />mechanisms. <br />10. Enforce curfews upon implementation by the Chair of the County <br />Commissioners. <br />11. Provide traffic and perimeter control for the evacuation as needed, <br />12. Maintain records of expenditures, obligations, narratives, and operational <br />journals of response action, including any activities associated with disaster <br />operations. <br />13.
