ORANGE COUNTY MULTI - HAZARD PLAN <br />M. HEALTH DIRECTOR <br />Direct public health services in affected are. <br />2. Provide support personnel to help staff shelters. <br />3. Coordinate the distribution of medications, vaccines or other <br />preventatives. <br />4. Coordinate with the Mental Health Director to provide crisis counselors at <br />shelters, <br />5. Provide staff as requested by Department of Social Services to assist in the <br />daily operation of special needs shelters. <br />6. Identify public health hazards and direct preventative activities. <br />Coordinate with ARC and Department of Social Services for shelter health <br />services needs. <br />& Develop and maintain plans to address animal needs during disasters. <br />9. Assist Public Works and Cooperative Extension Services in proper <br />disposal of carcasses. <br />10. Develop plans in coordination with State Medical Examiner for temporary <br />morgue facilities and body identification. <br />IL Maintain records of expenditures, obligations, narratives, and operational <br />journals of response action, including any activities associated with <br />disaster operations. <br />12.
