ORANGE COUNTY MULTI - HAZARD PLAN <br />F. COUNTYENGINEER <br />1. Develop, review and update procedures for damage reporting on an annual <br />basis in conjunction with the American Red Cross. <br />2. Train personnel in damage assessment techniques. <br />3. Identify resources, such as maps, tax data, cameras, and other identification, <br />to support and assist with damage assessment activities. <br />4. Assign and maintain a current roster of assessment teams. <br />5. Begin collection of data and record- keeping at onset of the event. <br />6. Inform officials of hazardous conditions of facilities, bridges, roads, etc. <br />7. Assist the Emergency Management Director and other County agencies <br />conducting recovery operations in establishing sequence of repairs and <br />restoration of affected County facilities. <br />8. Document all emergency work performed by local resources <br />9. Provide for submission preliminary Damage Assessment Reports. <br />10. Consolidate all expenditures and damage assessments for transmittal to the <br />State Emergency Management Office. <br />11. Maintain records of expenditures, obligations, narratives, and operational <br />,journals of response action, including any activities associated with disaster <br />operations. <br />12.
