ORANGE COUNTY MULTI - HAZARD PLAN <br />C. AMERICAN RED CROSS (ARC) LIAISON <br />1. Operate in accordance with letter of understanding and in cooperation with <br />the Department of Social Services. <br />2. Provide personnel, equipment, supplies, and food to create and maintain <br />sheltering operations. <br />3. Identify and provide support for evacuees within shelters with special needs. <br />4. Coordinate mass feeding operations. <br />5, Provide for crisis training of shelter personnel. <br />6. Coordinate with school officials for use of school facilities and develop letters <br />of understanding on agreements. <br />T Provide logistical support for emergency service workers <br />8. Coordinate damage assessment activities with the County Engineer. <br />9. Annually review letters of agreements, personnel rosters, inventories, and <br />Department Standard Operating Procedures and Policies with all agencies and <br />department involved in shelter and mass care operations. <br />10. Provide shelter kits containing registration forms, event log forms, occupancy <br />reports forms, guidelines, rules and handbook, and other forms or guidance, as <br />necessary. <br />11. Maintain records of expenditures, obligations, narratives, and operational <br />journals of response action, including any activities associated with disaster <br />operations. <br />12.
