ORANGE COUNTY MULTI - HAZARD PLAN <br />B. COUNTY MANAGER <br />1. Coordinate all county department and agencies during EOC operation. <br />2. Ensure that a list of all county department heads and callback rosters are <br />contained in the Resource Manual maintained in the EOC and all county <br />departments and agencies develop and maintain Emergency Operating <br />Procedures (EOPs). <br />3. Ensure county emergency plans and ordinances are updated as necessary. <br />4. Assign a county Public Information Officer (PIO). <br />5. When directed, or otherwise authorized bylaw, act on bebalf of the Chair to <br />the Board of County Commissioners during emergency operations. <br />6. Provide advisement to the Chair of the Board of County Commissioners. <br />7. Coordinate all activities related to disaster operations with municipal <br />managers of local governments. <br />8. Develop and maintain Memorandums of Understanding with other local <br />governments for sharing of resources during disaster operations. <br />9. Report to the Emergency Operations Center upon request.. <br />Revised 2/6/03 <br />
