I <br />2006 Update Scope of Work for Emergency Management Specialist <br />Identify skill functions necessary during emergency preparedness and response <br />Review current plan to determine if any Orange County Departments that may <br />have appropriate service functions are missing from current plan <br />Identify department to lead skill function in the event other departments contain <br />the same function <br />Meet with department heads that have emergency responsibilities to determine <br />readiness level for those responsibilities <br />Determine training and supply needs for those departments <br />Create /revise annexes for current multihazard plan to include <br />o Evacuation <br />• Mass gathering/special events <br />• Shelter in Place <br />• Joint Information Center <br />• Emergency Operations Center <br />• Severe /Adverse Weather <br />• Public Warning <br />Update resource listing for public and private suppliers of resources <br />Implement the National hicident Management System (NIMS) throughout <br />planning process <br />Ensure that training on NIMS is implemented within necessary departments <br />within the county and assist other non - County agencies with training and <br />identification needs <br />Begin resource typing throughout County <br />Conduct two emergency exercises within the county <br />Ensure completion of Orange County's training assessment to state emergency <br />management <br />Provide grant management, procurement, resource need identification, and grant <br />closeout <br />Write grants <br />Attend state emergency management conferences <br />
