The Arts Commission plans to use $413 from the state Grassroots Arts program and a private <br />sector contribution from Howard Perry and Walston Foundation totaling $820 for this project. <br />Should the Board approve the proposed artwork project, the Budget Office will bring a capital <br />project ordinance to the Board for approval at a future meeting and establish a budget for the <br />artwork based on the information outlined in the financial impact and include it on a future <br />Commissioner agenda. <br />RECOMMENDATION(S): The Manager recommends the following: <br />■ the Board accept the presentation of the Orange County Arts Commission <br />■ Include this public art project in a senior center design committee <br />■ Request that the Budget Office update a senior center capital project ordinance to <br />establish a budget for the artwork based on the information outlined in the financial impact <br />(including the release of $5,000 from the County Facilities Arts Reserve Project). <br />
