GLEDHILL <br />E-MAIL: geoffreygledhill@cgandh.com <br />R8: Schools Adequate Public Facilities Implementation <br />Dear Board Members: <br />At your meeting tomorrow night you will consider approving <br />revised memoranda and associated addenda as part of the Schools <br />Adequate Public Facilities program in both the Chapel Hill- <br />Carrboro City School District and the Orange County School <br />District. You also will consider approving amendments to the <br />Orange County Zoning Ordinance and the Orange County Subdivision <br />Regulations which will implement the Schools Adequate Public <br />Facilities program in Orange County's planning jurisdiction. The <br />Orange County land use ordinance amendments implement the <br />Schools Adequate Public Facilities program by creating two <br />overlay districts, one for the Chapel Hill-Carrboro City School <br />District, the other for the Orange County School District. The <br />administration recommendation is for approval of the MOUs, the <br />addenda to the MOUs and the ordinances. There is no <br />administration recommendation with respect to the effective date <br />of the ordinances. <br />
