Bennett, Gordon B. Cleveland, William C. Ray and <br />Henry S. Walker. <br />Noes: None <br />Commissioner William Ray introduced the following resolution which was read: <br />RESOLUTION DEDICATING A SITE FOR PUBLIC HEALTH BUILDING. <br />WHEREAS, this Board has completed the purchase of certain tracts or parcels of <br />land lying and being situate in the Southeastern section of the Town of Hillsborough <br />Orange County, North Carolina. This property is shown on survey and map prepared by <br />Davison Timber Management Services, Inc., under date of December 30, 1965, and is <br />recorded in Plat Book 14, at page 194, office of the Register of Deeds of Orange <br />County: and <br />WHEREAS, a part of the lands referred to in the preceding paragraph have been <br />purchased by the County of Orange at the request of the North Carolina Medical Care <br />Commission for utilization as a site for a public health building and related health <br />and medical purposes: and <br />WHEREAS, by agreement, it has been decided that a tract or lot containing 1.25 <br />acres will be adequate for said building site, said lot being described by.metes <br />and bounds as follows: <br />BEGINNING at an iron stake in the South right of way line of Margaret Lane, <br />which stake is located by measuring from the Southwest intersection of Margaret Lane <br />and South Cameron Street along the South right of way line of Margaret Lane a distance <br />of 165 feet; and running thence West along the South right of way line North 84 deg. <br />00 min. West 160 feet to an iron stake, corner with Emma Walker lot; thence South 5 <br />deg. 37 min. 51 sec. West 340 feet to a stake in the line of the property of D. T. <br />Roberts; thence a new line South 84 deg. 00 min. East 160 feet to an iron stake, a <br />new corner; thence North 5 deg. 37 min. 51 sec. East 340 feet to the place or point <br />of beginning.
