The accessory structure shall meet all zoning and building code requirements. <br />9. Additions/Improvements. <br />a. Additions and/or improvements to pre-FIRM structures whereas the addition and/or <br />improvements in combination with any interior modifications to the existing structure <br />aze: <br />i. Not a substantial improvement as deftned and does not require a zoning or° building <br />(5) permit, the addition and/or improvements must shall be designed to minimize flood <br />damages and n3ast shall not be any more non-conforming than the existing structure. <br />ii. Are substantial improvements as defined requir°ing a zoning or building permit, both <br />the existing structure and the addition and/or improvements rntist shall comply with <br />the standards for new construction, <br />b.
