ATTACHMENTI Services to be provided under this contract are as follows: The Contractor will provide emergency therapeutic family care for children referred by the Department. Except for as specified in mutual protocols, all children referred by the Department will be served., The Contractor will meet all licensure and regulatory requirements of the State of North Carolina related to the care of foster children or other children needing placements.. Placements of children will occur in Orange County unless other placement options have been approved in advance by the Department, The Depaztment will provide compensation for services at the following rates: The amount of $10,000 per year will be paid for the availability of each individual placement The amount of $90 per day will be paid for the first three days of service for each individual child The amount of $80 per day will be paid for all days after the first three days of individual placement For children in Social Services custody, the applicable state approved board rate will also be paid for each day ofplacement. For children not in Social Services custody, no additional fee will be paid. The Department of Social Services will determine its need for availability. Initial request will be for two placements with the possibility of adding two additional placements during the contract period. The Depaztment may reduce the number of available placements with 60 days notice,
