a Formulate a list of public service agencies which provide housing <br />related assistance, healthcare, counseling, and educational <br />services, and make the list available to the community (HIP, United <br />Way, Caller Times in year one and update the list every two years), <br />o Measure the effectiveness of the each homeless and supportive <br />housing program by collecting data from various agencies and <br />formulating a methodology to rate the effectiveness and outcomes <br />(City of Corpus Christi, HIP, United Way, in two years and assess <br />the effectiveness every five years), <br />o Make a directory of agencies providing monetary assistance and <br />other services and make the directory available to the community <br />by website and toll-free number (HIP, United Way, Caller Times in <br />two years and update the directory every two years), and <br />o Create a Homelessness Management Information System (HMIs) <br />using the administrative data collected from various programs and <br />add features to the system that would enable future homeless data <br />collection to be automated (City of Corpus Christi, HIP, and <br />Nueces County within five years and an ongoing maintenance). <br />ISSUE 2: Though the homeless assistance system ends homelessness for some <br />people, others quickly replace them. <br />GOal2: Establish Prevention Programs to stop chronic homelessness. <br />47 <br />
